Fellow teachers,

I am interested in starting a study group to address the issues of violence, bullying, and discriminatory behavior in our school through peace education. Some possible activities the group might do include:

1. Discuss problems we have noticed in the school.
2. Collect data on the prevalence of such issues in our school through teacher research.
3. Share ways we have addressed these issues.
4. Research available teaching resources and come up with new ways to address them.
5. Select children’s literature and learning activities that address these issues.
6. Read and discuss books on these issues.
7. Attend workshops and conferences that address these issues and then share back with the group.

The direction the group takes will depend on the interests of those who attend.
