What is Conflict Resolution?
Conflicts can take many forms. Sometimes only two people are involved. Other times it may involve groups of nations and lead to war. Conflict resolution is a formal process of bringing the disputing parties together to discuss and work out a solution to their problem. The Education World article Conflict Resolution: Four Approaches provides an excellent introduction to different strategies and gives a number of examples of successful conflict resolution programs in schools.
