What are TeachPeaceNow Bookcrossing books...?
Bookcrossing.com is a website devoted to sharing and recycling books around the world. We have teamed up with them to put into circulation some great social justice books for young people.
Each book we have set free has been numbered and labeled. The finder is invited to share the book with students and/or their own children.
Consult our website for discussion questions, lessons, relevant web links, and related activities. These can be found at Great Books. Also go to Our Schools to be inspired by how other teachers have used some of these books.
We ask the finder to write a brief journal entry at Bookcrossing telling how they used the book and then to pass the book on to other teachers in their school, to other schools, and/or to other parents.
